Ok, so on to Rome.
I didnt play much. I attacked some rebels up in Friesland with camel archers and desert cavalry. I won totally, but i lost 2 men. or 4? :P I think ill sail that navy back. Nothing to do up there anyway :) I had a diplomat with me, but he died. I suppose that navy, which is huge and rather heavy, isnt really needed up in the north sea :)
Numidians have decided to go to war with me and Ramose the Conqueror stands with the royal army on their doorstep. The can keep their western lands though. Im not greedy, i just want to punish them. :)
The army i used to subdue Corinth and Sparta has been settled on Sicily now. It has taken the two rebel cities of Messana and Lilybaeum. Whole Sicily is mine now and i wont give it to Carthage again. Its useless, theyll just lose them again. Its time for them to die i guess. From Sicily ill raid the Roman republic as much as i can. The loot will be endless. The best thing about Rome is that they have loads of Generals that can be bribed. In fact, Ramose, now arriving straight from Thebes is the first Egyptian general to march past Cyrene. All commanders of Carthage were Roman, Carthagian or Numidian generals, bribed by my army of diplomats.

My armies:

The royal army under command of Ramose the Conqueror is now marching to Numidia. They came from Trace to Alexandria recently and were reequipped with more modern weaponry in Thebes before they were sent west through the desert, then by ship from Cyrene to Numidia.

Anatolia is dominated by the Palmyrian army with solid support from Mercenary armies in Halicarnassos. This army also serves for the security of Byzantium.

The third army stands uncontested on Sicily. It recently came from the mission of casting Tracians out of southern Greece (Tracians only had those cities coz i gave them to them).

A fourth army is located in the areas of Antioch. Its not one standing army, but spread out through the north levant and south-east anatolia. Its responsible for defence of eastern anatolia, northern levant and babylonia. It has no real enemy really, but if there is one, it MIGHT be pontic armies, but then more likely Parthians, if they ever grow strong enough to attack me. They cant even defeat the last of the Armenian cities. Nor can Pontus :D Armenians own totally.

The fifth army is simply a royal guard. Elite units standing in Thebes. Their domain is the nile area only and to protect the egyptian homeland.

A sixth army is the guardians of Carthage. Its rather mixed up and should need some remformation. It might be merged up with the Sicilian army though. I didnt decide yet. It has an Elephant unit. :) So does the royal army though.

Then there are countless navys. Mainly the Kydonian/Rhodesian and the Carthagian navy. Most ships are triremes and were built in the levant and cyprus.

Now if i remember correctly, there are no more standing armies, but only city defence troops. Yay!

In general im having some problems with the lighter weight guys. Some lose a lot. I suppose that competition is hardest in Straw because the outer limit classes allow for freaky extreme fighters to be made. Ive never done well in Strawweights and im only #20 now. I have a bunch of new guys there now though. They are basically tall with low speed, and they need to train speed a lot. They'll lose in the beginning but it wont matter coz once theyre past the low speed, they can start do good.


About RomeTW: My Egyptians are all mighty now, but since ive left the other nations alone so much (except Trace) theyve grown powerful. Carthage crumbles of course under pressure from rebellions and numidians. However, SPQR somehow took Carthago Nova from the Numidians. I dont know how that went down. So anyway. I had during my rage rampage on the Greeks given away Sparta and Corinth to Trace. Whereafter they felt compelled to betray me. So now ive punished Trace a lot. Byzantium is mine now, and so it shall remain. Ill leave them alone from now on though. I just wiped out their main army anyhow. Falxmen dont have much to say really :)
Greeks are regrowing their nation now then, and i can see greek ships reappearing in the Aegean sea, however soon sunk by the great egyptian navy which completely dominates the eastern ocean.
The last of the Seleucid rulers died without successor and thus, it is a dead nation. I siezed control over Babylon immediatley. This means i now control the world from Egypt through the levant and Anatolia to the Byzant. Soon the entire eastern desert will be mine also after the soon to come defeat of the Numidians. Then my reign will reach from the Byzant to Egypt to Carthage and to the Italian islands, uninterrupted.
I think ill go on a plundering raid through the Roman republic soon. It has lots of juicy armies to defeat now, and hopefully aplenty of loot. About the Carthagian nation, they are demising without control over Carthage, and i dont know how much longer ill be able to keep them alive. They are doomed to die it seems.
Britannia seems to overrun Germania in the north as well, and i have a large navy sailing up there with some cavalry, doing some kind of completely useless recon work :) Still, Pontus remains my ally, which is rather strange :) Parthia remains peaceful in the eastern mountainranges, which is good.
My armies are even larger now though, and ive probably raised another complete army by now. I was trying to cut back on army upkeep to below 50.000, but now its seems to have gone up above 60.000 very quickly. However, with the new cities, the new taxes and lots of looting and massacring (which is needed to keep the populace from rioting) my treasury seems to be impossible to empty. There arnt enough buildings to build to empty it. Ive gone from a steady balance at 200.000 dinarii up to a huge surplus by over 10.000 per year and my treasury is already beyond 700.000 dinarii.
Perhaps helped by the quick buildup of more advanced trade structures in all cities, instead of military isntallations. I dont need armies anyway. Perhaps i should build another navy for use in the western ocean. Then i can better protect Carthage from demise, if thats possible at all :P Maybe they should get a new king, like... Eric Carthman.

yesterday i found myself being in severe competition with a n00b, my favourite forum thread was abducted and i fell asleep at 4 AM. Today a ghost violated my leg at work and i feel generally out of my skin. Would be good to just close my eyes ears and nose and wait till its over. I guess its a bad option. The abduction was reverted though, thanks to vigalant me and others.

SLAYEEEEER!!! Wooo, i got slayer tickets! June 8. I didnt get tickets for the concert, coz it sold out before i even knew there was a concert, but fortunatley, there will be an extra concert the day after, so ill get to see them anyway!!! :DDDDDDDDD im quite happy with this coz slayer is a cool thing to see. Anyway, this is a quite serious picture. This picture was taken by some woman in Stockholm. She didnt notice it until she processed the pics. She didnt think much about it tho. Then some weeks later they found a chopped up lady in the Stockholm waters and she reported this pic to the policja. Its not a bad pic, but im afraid one of the two appearing in the picture is dead. (there's no body attached to the hand)

Prince Rainer III of Monaco passed away this morning.

During his lifetime he transformed Monaco from a small Principality to a luxurious paradise for the rich. He married on of the greatest Hollywood stars, Grace Kelly and had 3 children.

Its not a bad deal, but he was a prince after all. (Prince = King in Monaco) However, Grace died in 1982 in a car crash. Mysteriously of course. Much like Diana, but still not quite.

I wonder who is coming up next? The Pope recently perished. Maybe.. hmm, Elizabeth II of England? She's not that old maybe, but still, old enough to perish. I dont really know how old the other royals are. Prince Charles maybe. He's kinda old. Not older than his mother though.. i think. He looks really old. Uuuuh, "King Charles of England". The horror.

We'll time will show. All we know for sure is that they will all die one day or another. Me too probably. WE ARE ALL DOOOOOOOMED!

Super Welter feels unfair. Jardel is really great there with 20-4-1 and it would be cool if i could get a shot at a title soon, but. The champion is Carpathian Destroyer's AM Kicsi Nebantsvirag - 56-6-0 (38/3) with 32 regional title wins. That gyms third most titled fighter i believe. It feels unfair. The bloody Hungarians are so fucking dominant :(

I faught for second rank with Derion Laeo against Gummi Snoddas (I hate Crixx Arenas fighter names) but i lost. Possibly i could win if i get a rematch though. However, there is of course a certain AM Makos Retes at #1 so. Oh well. DOOM!

Also of great intrest is now Swarm Reigns who has reached the top of the rankings and landed on #5. Rating is 18 and thats as high as anyone in his division. He didnt get at title fight now but maybe he will if he wins this one. Tommy "The Hurricane" Jackson (25-11-0 14/8) from the the ice house3 gym stands against him on Friday.

Also looking good are Scott West, Rank #5 (19-6-1) 13(13) and John Herrings, Rank #6 (22-8-0) 15(15). Losing horribly atm is Tristan Merre with 5 straight losses, plus a tie before those. If he doesnt win now, he will have to retire and make way for new able young boxers :)

New Book! By me!

I didnt exactly write this book. Jordanes wrote it and published it AD 551. He didnt even get all this by himself,. He mosty took his information from a previous work which is now lost. However, this book is currently the best information we have of the Gothic tribes in europe in the first centuries CE.

The pope is about to die, and thats kind of weird. Well, at least he wasnt fired. I dunno if he was a good pope, but i guess he was far from the worst.



The pope is polish and ive actually passed through his home town while traveling on a polish train. He was born Karol Józef Wojtyła in Wadowice, Poland in 1920 and will now die in 2005. I guess its kind of amazing that popes die too.

Anyway, Swarm Reigns has now reached status 18 which all leading fighters in Unsanctioned have. Its wicked awesome coz now he has a shot on the title at last. His last win jumped him 20 clicks up the rankings btw. Hoowoo for Swarm!

I have some more guys that wanna fight for titles, i hope i can. Argh, those carpathians :(

Anyway, i havnt been fooled so far, so thats good. April 1 still isnt over. Ive heard some jokes, but none were good really. Ive been working all day and i liked it i think, but it was messy and im not sure im really in control. I hope i wont screw it up :(
